Offering a unique combination of Folk, Blues, Roots Rock and Americana styles , Traveled Ground's music crosses the spectrum of the Roots Music scene. Hailing out of Waconia Minnesota, this group has kept a busy schedule playing local, regional and national stages for over 30 years. Led by multi- instrumentalist Clark Machtemes, their brand of story driven songs, sense of song craft and arsenal of instruments have led to national radio play, commercial jingles and songwriter showcases across the country. Traveled Ground plays as a full band and at times as an acoustic duo and trio. Clark also performs solo to showcase Traveled Ground's original music. Traveled Ground has released five full length albums and released their 6th in the Summer of 2020. The pandemic in 2021 has inspired this group to put forward various new singles released on all Major streaming sites. They are a group that continues to evolve but yet remain grounded in American Roots Music.
