The Barn Cats are a Twin Cities based instrumental Jazz Quartet that feature the vocal stylings of Robyn Chargo. The Barn Cats focus on small combo Jazz Standards generally from the 40's, 50's and 60's, the golden age of Jazz. In addition to a few originals, instrumentals cover tunes from artists such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Dave Brubeck, Sonny Rollins and Herb Alpert. Robyn Chargo covers vocal tunes from a broad array of artists including Julie London, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Billy Holiday and Diana Krall.
